Second day in Tokashiki Island. I love this place because there is a lot of green and a wide open view, I can take walks or sit and relax, and of course the clean toilets too.LOL
Ok, let me talk about the lectures and group discussions we had today. first of all,the lecture was about “Water and Sustainable Development “. Every country has it’s own situations and issues. So it’s hard to think if other situations from one’s own point of view. This is why we need to spread the information more, And cooperate. I was shocked when he said the 21st century war would be fought over water. But we are the ones who have to stop that from happening.
After lunch we had a group discussion on the situation on several countries, Group 1 discussed about Cambodia. This time we made rules on how we discuss and present. And it actually worked out well I think. We should continue to do this. We made a connection on water issues and education. Not only the basic reasons but with the solutions too.
We all enjoyed the whole thing today.
